Gardenos Hotel and Pool was my retreat for some much-needed relaxation on Corfu. Located 36 km from Corfu Town, it provides easy access to stunning beaches, which I found quite handy. The peaceful ambiance of the hotel offers a great escape from the bustling city vibe I'm used to in NYC. The pool area was spacious, which allowed for a good dose of sunbathing without feeling crowded. I appreciated that there were ample sun loungers and umbrellas, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The convenience of having a kitchenette in my room was great for preparing light meals while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Billy, the host, really aimed to make my stay enjoyable. From assisting with rental services to sharing local tips, he ensured I felt at home. The limited Wi-Fi was refreshing, prompting me to disconnect and soak up the serene environment. For those seeking a quiet getaway with good beach access, Gardenos presents a solid option. I found the balance of leisure and comfort to be commendable, leaving me rejuvenated and ready for the marathons back in my busy life.
